Dr. Robert Weisman is a Board-certified Professor of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine.   Dr. Weisman is the director of the Head and Neck Oncology Program at the new UCSD Moores Cancer Center, where he works with a skilled multidisciplinary team of specialists and sub-specialists to provide comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic care to patients with cancers of the head and neck.   UCSD is one of the few centers in the U.S. that offers patients with advanced head and neck cancer treatment with intra-arterial chemotherapy and concurrent radiation therapy (RADPLAT). This approach was pioneered at UCSD, and produces cure rates for Stage IV disease that are greater than expected based on experience with other approaches.   Click here to read more about Dr. Weisman.
